Why Choose Station House Vets?

We aren’t the only vets in Hale – so why choose us?

We understand that choosing a vet can be hard – your pet is a part of your family and you want the very best for them. As Vets, Nurses and Veterinary Support Staff we all love pets and want to provide them with excellent health care. So when all vet practices are promising the same, how to you pick the right one for you and your furry friend?

At Station House we believe that the small things that make a big difference. We aim to make every pet’s experience with us a pleasant one for all involved, and it’s with this is mind that we have adopted our four key principles; Care, Tailored, Time and Expertise.

The Willows Veterinary Group - Station House (Web) 003

At Station House Veterinary Surgery our team all have one thing in common – they entered the veterinary profession because they care about animals. Whether it be your pet, a stray or even their own pet, they provide the same dedicated level of care to every animal that comes through their doors.

We believe that the knowledge and expertise of all the members of the team is important. We want you and your pets to receive a high value of care and support, which is provided by our dedication to the profession. Our staff all attend training on a regular basis to ensure they stay up to date with the latest products, technologies and information in the veterinary field.

As pet owners ourselves, we understand how it feels to be on the other side of the consulting table. Taking your beloved pets to the vet can be a stressful time, especially if they have become unexpectantly injured or poorly. From start to finish, we aim to provide a service that is empathetic, to all involved.

Our practice holds a Compassion Understood Platinum accreditation, which means our front of house teams have gone through special training so they can support our pet owners, when it comes to saying goodbye to their beloved pet.

At Station House Veterinary Centre, we aim is to keep you informed about your pet, from treatment plans and investigations to costs of your pet’s treatment. We endeavour to make communication a two-way process, and that our friendly and caring team make you feel at ease to discuss whatever concerns or worries you may have about your pet.

School and Nursery Visits

Our school and nursery visits are fun-filled events and great for getting children interested in all things pet related. We tailor our visits to the audience, but have many vet related interactive activities for all ages.

We have worksheets for various abilities and ages and each child gets a sticker. Teachers will find they are able to do follow up activities and creative play following a visit from a vet.

A career in the veterinary industry can be an extremely rewarding, but demanding role. Our presence at School/College careers fairs can be a great way to educate those interested in the veterinary care all about the highs and the lows. We can talk to students about the various job roles at a veterinary practice, from Kennel Nurse right through to Vet, the work entailed, salary, qualifications and training needed.
